World of soil White Acres is dying since the gods have abandoned him. Sacred luciferin sources are drying up gradually causing an inexorable global cooling. Jasper and younger sister Self, both descendants of Espinaks, went toward a cursed volcano where a ruined temple, where the legend says that the gods are born.
Alex just moved into apartment and is about to realize his oldest dream: to live comics. Through a series of strips and short stories, follow her daily as he tries to reconcile the life of every day with too many hours and sleepless nights in front of the drawing board. All this work will be an opportunity for him to discover an intriguing world that suddenly seems more real to him than ever.
Internationally acclaimed émile Nelligan (1879-1941) was by far the largest French-Canadian poet of his time, influenced by Octave Crémazie, Fréchette, Charles Baudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Arthur Rimbaud and Edgar Allan Poe. His work is marked by recurrent themes such as childhood, madness, music, love and death and is still alive today.
